This is the pile of trusses laying on the ground it takes a lot of work to get them ready to be set.
We build some of the trusses on the ground and the boom truck sets them in place.

Framing Pocatello
The last of the walls going up before trusses are set.
We hire a boom truck to set the trusses up on the walls this usually takes about three hours.
Here is a crooked picture after all of the trusses are up.
After the trusses are set it takes a day to build all of the corners and get ready for sheeting on a hip roof.

Pocatello Framing
Here is the floor half sheeted. It looked really big once the whole thing had sheeting on it.
Once the floor is complete we lay out all of the walls and figure the layout of windows and doors. It is a lot easier to make changes at this point instead of after the walls are standing.

We did change a few things to make some of the rooms feel more open.
This is the back wall of the house it is 75 feet long. We had to recruit some locals to help stand it. The Solomons brought seven people with them to help. It went up easy with that many people.
Here all but one exterior wall is stood. there is one missing right behind the garage. The well was completed this week, we ended up with 50 gallons per minute a great well.
